Kids are the new wave and generation that will make up the future, and right now that future is full of designer brands and rap. Rap is becoming an epidemic across the entire country and this is influencing not only kids and teenagers in the United States, but also across the entire world. The whole idea of "Soundcloud rap", which is essentially underground rap for up and coming artists, has emerged in this decade, showing how large of an influence these rappers are on a kids life. At school, new songs and outfits are constantly talked about. And at jobs and companies, they are constantly trying to create the new wave or fashion idea that will resonate with the youth of today, since they hold all of the power. People like A$AP Rocky and Kanye West have grown to be not only music icons, but fashion ones as well, as kids will continue to copy their style in order to be like them. Kids have always looked up to celebrities before while choosing what to wear or what's in or out of style, but now the new people to look at are rappers. They hold influence over the entire fashion scene, as they are asked to be front row at fashions shows like Cardi B at Alexander Wang's show. This creates a widespread influence as it's not only kids who listen to her music, but also people who see her at these shows and want to be like her. The dream of many Americans is to be famous and recognized, and although these ordinary people can not copy the same talent that many rappers have, they can copy the sense of style which makes them feel like the famous people who wear those exact same clothes.
